Rick D. Blasgen has been the president and chief executive officer of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) with a mission of leading the supply chain management profession through the development and dissemination of supply chain education and research since 2005.
He began his career with Nabisco, where he held various logistics positions of increasing responsibility in inventory management, order processing, and transportation and distribution center operations management. He became vice president, supply chain, at Nabisco in June 1998, then vice president supply chain for Kraft in June 2002. He joined ConAgra Foods in August 2003 as senior vice president integrated logistics. He earned his degree in business administration from Governors State University.
Ellen Voie is an internationally recognized speaker and authority on gender diversity and inclusion for women working in non-traditional careers in transportation. As the founder of the Women in Trucking Association in March of 2007, Voie currently serves as the nonprofit organization’s President/CEO.
Voie’s background in the trucking industry began as the assistant and later Traffic Manager for a steel fabricating plant in central Wisconsin. She then worked as a dispatcher for a grain hauling carrier before becoming co-owner of a small fleet, she has been also the Manager of recruiting and retention programs at Schneider National, Inc.
Rob W. Estes, Jr. graduated from the College of William & Mary in 1974 with a degree in Accounting. After graduation, he began his career at Estes, working in various progressive positions over the years. He began as a salesman in the Richmond area in 1975 and is currently President & CEO of the company.
Mr. Estes is active in the community and trucking industry, serving on various boards including Southern Motor Carriers, American Trucking Association, Needles Eye Ministries, Science Museum of Virginia and National Association of Christian Recovery. He is a former board member of Richmond Goodwill and Virginia State Chamber of Commerce as well as past Chairman for the Board of Deacons of Bon Air Baptist Church.
Zach Strickland is the Director of Freight Market Intelligence for FreightWaves. He works on the market expert team and curates the weekly SONAR market update. With a degree in finance, he spent the early part of his career in banking before transitioning to transportation in various roles and segments, such as truckload and LTL. He has over 13 years of transportation experience, specializing in data, pricing, and analytics.
Drew Wilkerson has P&L responsibility for the company’s truck brokerage, expedite, intermodal, drayage, managed transportation, last mile and global forwarding operations in North America. He has 14 years of versatile industry experience, including eight years with XPO, most recently as president, brokerage operations. Mr. Wilkerson joined XPO in 2012 to lead the growth of key brokerage locations, including the company’s flagship hub in Charlotte North Carolina. Earlier, during six years with C.H. Robinson Worldwide, he held leadership roles related to strategic sales, carrier relationships, customer relationships and operations. Mr. Wilkerson holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina at Columbia.
William Hupp has served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Estes Express Lines, since 2006, he joined Estes in 1977 after graduating from Virginia Military Institute (VMI) with a degree in civil engineering. In 1998 was appointed Executive Vice President and became a member of the Estes Board of Directors. He is the former Chairman of the Board for Estes Forwarding Worldwide, a subsidiary of Estes Express Lines, and current Chairman of Estes Final Mile, also a subsidiary of Estes. He has also served as President of the American Trucking Associations Sales and Marketing Association and continues to serve on several boards at VMI.
Jason joined project44 as the Vice President of Solutions Engineering in October of 2016. Mark Derks is currently Partner and Chief Marketing Officer for Words At Work, a marketing services agency. In this role, he leads innovation and marketing for client strategy, branding, content, creative and digital offerings. Previously, Derks spent more than 20 years with C.H. Robinson where he most recently served as director of global marketing and led marketing strategy, brand management, and external communications for North America, South America, Europe, Asia, India, and Australia. He has over 25 years of involvement in supply chain logistics and transportation.
Collins White is the President of AMX Logistics. Today, he uses that expertise to ensure that AMX Logistics continues to accommodate the unique demands of its growing customer base, He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s in general business administration. He is also a graduate of Alabama Leadership Initiative and Lead ATA the American Trucking Associations leadership program for up and coming leaders within the US trucking industry. Collins is a member of the board of directors at the Dothan Chamber of Commerce and is also active in Dothan Rotary. While he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
